The resume project was generally straightforward. There was already a resume ready on-hand so the graphics as well as design hierarchy were the main focuses. The design choice was used to organize the body copy in a way to allow readers to view it in bits and pieces.
The topic of the flyer project is quite obvious, defunding the police. There were many ways to go about promoting the defunding of police departments across the country but the most powerful means would be timely as well. Considering the recent events of protesters and police departments going at each other, using the pandemic situation as a means of contrasting the difference in funding makes sense.
This brochure was hands down the most difficult project to complete. Not only was the group situation complicated due to changes midway, cooperation in the group was a challenge. The design of this brochure changed at least three times starting off with a mostly discombobulated and chaotic design and ending with this more cohesive one.
The design of the business card was also very straightforward, although it changed slightly the edits made to the business card only enhanced the original design.
The logo idea stemmed from the social media foodies community. There are pages, businesses and people on social media who base their presence on a love of food. the company the logo is for would do just that, focussing on branding and advertising for food based business online.
The postcard project was a simple one and was based around personal views while adding design elements to it.
